Tickets for 'UFC 147: Belfort vs. Silva' in Brazil on sale Thursday

Tickets for the UFC's upcoming return to Brazil go on sale this week.

The event, "UFC 147: Belfort vs. Silva," takes place June 23 at the 25,000-seat indoor arena "Mineirinho" (Estadio Jornalista Felipe Drumond) in Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais, Brazil.

Tickets go on sale to the general public beginning Thursday.

There are no pre-sale periods for UFC Fight Club members or UFC.com e-newsletter subscribers, though orders are available from individuals with international credit cards.

Tickets start at R$220 ($106 U.S.), though half-price tickets are available for qualifying Brazilians. They're available only at www.ticketsforfun.com.br.

"The Ultimate Fighter: Brazil" coaches Wanderlei Silva (34-11-1 MMA, 4-6 UFC) and Vitor Belfort (21-9 MMA, 10-5 UFC) meet in UFC 147's middleweight pay-per-view headliner. Fabricio Werdum (15-5-1 MMA, 3-2 UFC) meets heavyweight Mike Russow (15-1 MMA, 4-0 UFC) in the co-headliner, and the event also features the "TUF: Brazil" tournament finales.
