Strikeforce Set For July 14th in Portland, Lorenz Larkin Vs. Robbie Lawler Added

Strikeforce's July card has a date, a location, and a new fight. The card will take place on July 14th in the Rose Garden in Portland, Oregon, and the new fight is another middleweight bout. MMA Weekly has the news:

The next major Strikeforce card will be headed to the Rose Garden in Portland, Ore. on July 14, and two more fights have been confirmed for the show.

In addition the main event pitting Luke Rockhold against Tim Kennedy with the Strikeforce middleweight title on the line, two more middleweight bouts will also take place.

First up, heavy hitter Robbie Lawler will get back in action as he faces former light heavyweight contender Lorenz Larkin.

The other fight mentioned in the article is the previously-confirmed bout between Roger Gracie and Keith Jardine.

Lawler (19-8, 1 NC) is coming off a win over Adlan Amagov in January after dropping his two previous bouts to Kennedy and Ronaldo "Jacare" Souza. Larkin (12-0, 1 NC) was handed the first defeat of his career by Muhammed Lawal back in January, but the result was overturned when Mo tested positive for a banned substance.

So far, the only bouts announced for the card are the three middleweight fights above and a bout between Tyron Woodley and Nate Marquardt for the vacant Strikeforce welterweight title.
