Reminder: 'UFC Primetime: Dos Santos vs. Mir' debuts tonight on FX

As a reminder, the first episode of the new three-part "UFC Primetime" series debuts tonight on FX.

In advance of their UFC 146 heavyweight title fight, UFC champ Junior Dos Santos (14-1 MMA, 8-0 UFC) and former titleholder Frank Mir (16-5 MMA, 14-5 UFC) are the focus of the event-preview series.

The debut airs tonight at 11 p.m. ET/PT following a new episode of "The Ultimate Fighter: Live."

Parts two and three air in the same timeslot over the next two weeks. FUEL TV airs replays of each episode air throughout the week.

"UFC 146: Dos Santos vs. Mir" takes place May 26 at Las Vegas' MGM Grand Garden Arena. The night's main card, which features a full slate of heavyweight matchups, airs on pay-per-view following prelims on FX and Facebook.

Dos Santos, of course, was slated to face former Strikeforce champion Alistair Overeem in the UFC 146 main event. However, a pre-fight drug test flagged Overeem for elevated levels of testosterone, and UFC officials pulled the later-suspended fighter from the card in favor of Mir.
Mir enters the fight on the strength of a three-fight win streak. The former heavyweight champion is 8-2 in his past 10 fights and has downed Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira, Roy Nelson and Mirko "Cro Cop" Filipovic in his past three outings.

The full UFC 146 card includes:
