UFC goes Pride FC in epic fights

If you never have seen or if you would like to present MMA to someone who have never seen it UFC 139 would be a perfect show to display. There mere fact the there were 2 fights that received the “Fight of the Night bonus” says it all.

The main point is tonight was once again Pride FC time. 3 former Pride fighters showed why the pride era will always be considered as the best ever. And why the media need to stop asking +30 fighters when they will they will retire.

Also a lot of credit to the referee Josh Rosenthal for not stopping the fight at so many situations. THIS fight clearly shows why Fedors fight against Henderson should not have been stopped by Herb Dean that early. That fight too could have been a fight of epic proportions.

Dan Henderson, Mauricio "Shogun" Rua, Wanderlei Silva and Cung Le each earned $70,000 fight-night bonuses for their performances at Saturday's UFC 139 event.

I am sure there will be some discussions afterwards about the scoring of the Hendo vs. Shogun fight. And the brazilian will once again say that they need to finish because they never get a decision in US. But shogun is 29 years old and still has plenty of time to shine.
